T.H. Svedlund is an author-brand owned by the author, T.H. Svedlund. Forsety, Ltd. is responsible for the operation of the Website and the processing of personal data collected through the Website.

References throughout the site to “I”, “me”, “my”, “mine” or “T.H. Svedlund” reflect the author’s personal voice, opinions, experiences and authorship associated with the brand. All products, services, sales, subscriptions, customer relationships, agreements, payment processing arrangements, intellectual property and business activities conducted through the Website are provided, owned, managed and administered by Forsety, Ltd., unless expressly stated otherwise.

This Policy explains the circumstances in which refunds, returns, cancellations, exchanges, and withdrawal rights may be available in connection with products and services sold through the Website.

Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

  1. General Policy

Except where required by applicable law, all sales are final.

We do not offer discretionary refunds, satisfaction guarantees, trial periods, or goodwill refunds unless expressly stated otherwise.

Refunds, returns, cancellations, and exchanges are available only as described in this Policy or where required by law.

  1. Physical Books

Consumer Withdrawal Rights

Where applicable consumer protection laws grant a withdrawal or cooling-off right, consumers may exercise those rights within the legally prescribed period.

To exercise a withdrawal right, customers must notify us before the withdrawal period expires.

Return Conditions

Returned items must:

  • Be returned within the applicable legal timeframe;
  • Be in substantially the same condition as received;
  • Include all original materials where reasonably possible.

Customers are responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.

Return Shipping

Unless otherwise required by law or where the product is defective, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

The risk of loss during return shipment remains with the customer until received by us.

Signed, Personalized, or Custom Products

Signed books, personalized books, dedicated copies, custom products, and made-to-order products are non-refundable and non-returnable except where required by applicable law.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Customers must notify us within fourteen (14) days of delivery if:

  • The product arrives damaged;
  • The product is defective;
  • The wrong item is received; or
  • Items are missing from an order.

We may request:

  • Photographs;
  • Order information;
  • Proof of damage; or
  • Return of the item.

At our discretion and subject to applicable law, we may:

  • Replace the product;
  • Repair the product;
  • Issue a refund; or
  • Provide another appropriate remedy.
  1. E-Books and Digital Downloads

Immediate Access

E-books and digital downloads are generally made available immediately after purchase.

Loss of Withdrawal Rights

Where permitted by applicable law, customers expressly:

  • Request immediate access to digital content; and
  • Acknowledge that the statutory withdrawal right is lost once delivery begins.

By completing a purchase and accessing digital content, the customer agrees to this loss of withdrawal rights.

Refunds

Except where required by law, e-books, digital downloads, PDFs, templates, guides, and similar digital products are non-refundable once access, download, streaming, or delivery has commenced.

No refunds will be provided because:

  • The customer changes their mind;
  • The content has already been downloaded;
  • The content is no longer wanted;
  • The content was not used;
  • The customer lacked the necessary software or hardware.
  1. Audiobooks

Where audiobooks are delivered digitally, the same rules applicable to digital products apply.

Once access, streaming, download, or delivery begins, refunds will not be available except where required by law.

  1. Courses, Educational Content, and Memberships

Access to Content

Access to educational content may begin immediately upon purchase.

Where permitted by law, customers expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that applicable withdrawal rights may be lost once access begins.

Refunds

Except where required by law:

  • Course purchases are non-refundable after access is granted;
  • Membership fees are non-refundable after the membership period begins;
  • Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable.

Failure to use purchased content does not create entitlement to a refund.

Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where users violate our Terms of Use.

No refund shall be owed in such circumstances unless required by law.

  1. Subscription Services

Where subscriptions are offered:

  • Future recurring charges may be cancelled before the next billing cycle;
  • Previously charged subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law;
  • Access remains available until the end of the paid subscription period unless otherwise specified.
  1. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Where a chargeback is initiated improperly or fraudulently, we reserve all legal rights available to us.

We may provide payment processors with relevant records demonstrating delivery, access, downloads, account activity, communications, and acceptance of applicable terms.

  1. Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be issued using the original payment method.

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse alternative refund methods;
  • Request identity verification;
  • Delay processing pending investigation of suspected fraud.
  1. Processing Times

Approved refunds are generally processed within fourteen (14) business days after approval.

Actual receipt of funds depends on banking institutions and payment providers.

  1. Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse refunds where fraud is suspected;
  • Refuse duplicate refund requests;
  • Request supporting documentation;
  • Investigate unusual purchasing activity.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory legal rights.

  1. Language

This Refunds and Return Policy may be made available in English and Swedish.

The English and Swedish versions are intended to have equivalent meaning. In the event of ambiguity, the version used in the relevant customer interaction may be taken into account, subject always to mandatory consumer protection laws.

  1. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under:

  • The laws of England and Wales;
  • United Kingdom consumer protection legislation;
  • European Union consumer protection legislation;
  • Swedish consumer protection legislation; or
  • Other applicable mandatory consumer protection laws.

Where mandatory law grants greater rights than this Policy, those legal rights shall prevail.
